Tiburon Railroad & Ferry Depot Museum

1920 Paradise Dr., Tiburon, CA, 94920
(415) 435-1853 - Venue Website

Restored and maintained by the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society, this building is the last remnant of the once sprawling 60 acre port and maintenance yard of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad which operated from 1884 until 1967.
Perched on Shoreline Park with priceless views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and Angel Island, there are two museums located in this historic building. On the ground floor is the history of the railroad-ferry terminus featuring an operating HO scale model layout of the operations in Tiburon c. 1900-1910. Upstairs is the station master’s living quarters, which has been restored based on the recollections of the daughter of the last stationmaster, William Bent, who served from 1913 to 1940.

Hours: Open April to October, Wednesday and Saturday 1-4 p.m.
Accessible to persons with disabilities.
