Paintings & Sculpture by Prakash Chandras (San Jose), Paintings by Lea Feinstein (Stanford), and Paintings by Mark Lightfoot (Oakland) will be on exhibit from April 23 to June 24 at the Paul G. Allen (Center for Integrated Systems) Art Spaces Gallery, 420 Via Palou, at the corner of Campus Drive and Via Ortega. The Paul G. Allen Building is open to the public every weekday from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is free.
A public reception for the artists will happen at the Paul G. Allen (C.I.S.) Building on Friday, April 23 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Prakash Chandras graduated with an MFA from San Jose State University in 1983. He teaches locally at Evergreen Valley College, Foothill College, and De Anza College.
Lea Feinstein is a former faculty member at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Maryland Institute College of Art, and Georgetown University. She currently writes about contemporary art for SF Weekly and ARTnews. She has a BA in Art History from Wellesley College, and an MFA from George Washington University.
Mark Lightfoot has a BS in Design from the University of Michigan and an MFA from the University of Washington. His work has been exhibited extensively in Michigan, Washington, British Columbia and California, and his paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture and handmade paper pieces are in private collections and public buildings throughout the west.
