Pan-Asian Music Festival: Elegant Gathering III

Lectures and demonstrations associated with the Pan-Asian Music Festival take the format of “Elegant Gatherings,” an ancient term used to describe a gathering of scholars and artists. Stanford Professor Anna Schultz leads a panel discussion - "From the Silk Road to Today’s World of Music" - that explores the past and the continuing transformation of Asian music. Followed by a Chinese tea ceremony performed by Tea Master Chiung-Chih Lin. Presented with the Center for East Asian Studies.
