Lectures and demonstrations associated with the Pan-Asian Music Festival take the format of “Elegant Gatherings,” an ancient term used to describe a gathering of scholars and artists. Join Professor Yosihiko Tokumaru as he presents a lecture entitled "Quotation and Intertextuality in Japanese Music" with a musical demonstration by Master Tosiko Yonekawa II.
