Mozart's Birthday Celebration

Join us for a musical party in celebration of the 256th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This de light ful evening will be hosted by the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra's (SFCO) musical director, Benjamin Simon, and will feature the SFCO's All-Stars: Robin Sharp and Debra Fong, violins; Sharon Wei and Ben Simon, violas; and Robert Howard, cello. Enjoy two glorious Mozart viola quintets, a very early one: String Quintet No. 1 in B-flat Major (K. 174), and one of his mature masterpieces: String Quintet No. 5 in D Major (K. 593). There will be a Mozart Trivia Contest and a guest appearance by young Wolfie himself.
