The comedy hit of the Humana Festival, Criminal Hearts, will open the 32nd season of the Sausalito Players -- a play-reading group -- on Wednesday, October 14th, at the Sausalito Woman’s Club. Theatre-goers are cautioned that the play contains adult language, and my not be suitable for everyone.
Directed by Peter Arnott and produced by Mickey Allison, the comedy stars Julie Carlson, Mollie Squires, Tony Cook, John Ferrell, and Ann Arnott. The quirky humor of the story, written by Jane Martin, revolves around a female burglar who enters a luxury apartment, only to find that the only furniture left is a bed, in which lies an emotionally unstable wife, aching for revenge on the husband who cleaned her out.
Curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. at the Sausalito Woman’s Club, 120 Central Avenue, at the south end of San Carlos Avenue. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. Drivers are urged to car-pool, and to observe the Parking Signs, and avoid impinging on private driveways.
