Join a community of practitioners sharing yoga, meditation, meals and discussions about Zen. Our gentle schedule supports you to cultivate a stable, relaxed, and pain-free meditation posture, and allows you to deeply rest, rejuvenate, and invigorate your body and mind. You will shed layers of tension and stress, opening to a greater sense of clarity, ease, and connection. Please bring a yoga sticky mat and a thick bath towel.

Do-An Robert Thomas Do-An Robert Thomas has practiced Zen and lived at Zen Center for 17 years. He was ordained as a priest and received Dharma Transmission from Zoketsu Norman Fischer. In his six years as Zen Center President, Robert has focused his teaching on how Zen Buddhism can be extended into the activities of everyday life.
Samantha Ostergaard Samantha Ostergaard is a Zen student and yoga teacher who has used yoga to support her zazen practice for many years. She lived and practiced at Tassajara for three years, receiving lay ordination from Zoketsu Norman Fischer in 2000. Her teaching of yoga is deeply influenced by Zen practice.
