COLLAGE 2012 "Knowledge Transporters" Honors Pioneers and living legacies vital to cultivating the Bay Area's cultural landscape celebrated as International Ambassadors of the Arts! This year's concert performance to feature the acclaimed such as Rara Tou Limen, Dimensions Dance Theater, Julia Chigamba and Chinyakare, Emese-Messengers of the African Diaspora, with eclectic presentations by SambaFunk FunkAquarians and of course the celebrated Diamano Coura West African Dance with special guests.
Collage Concert is the West Coast's Premiere African Dance Drum Cultural Festival; Arts Ambassadors local and International who come together to expose audiences to some of the BEST in African Dance Drum Culture in the United States, and includes a dynamic conference of Dance, Drum, and Culture workshops engaging its students, learners, scholars of its vast communities.
