PEERS presents a formal Victorian ball celebrating the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens. After a vintage ballroom dance lesson at 7pm and a theatrical performance by Mr. Dickens himself at 8pm, the Bangers & Mash chamber ensemble plays an evening of Victorian ballroom dance music. Dance waltzes, polkas, quadrilles, & other popular period dances (Set dances will be taught or called). Victorian or modern evening dress is admired but not required. Punch and a light Olde English snack buffet.
