Over 100,000 people of Japanese ancestry were held in 10 remote camps in 1942. Not charged or convicted of any crime, they were incarcerated - surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards.
The exhibit will feature artworks created during internment at Topaz and will be on display at the San Leandro History Museum from February 18th – March 31st. Weekends only, 11:00-3:00.
