Heron's Head Park is a 24 acre restored wetland at the base of the PG&E Power Plant in Hunters Point, San Francisco. The Park is maintained by over 1,000 public school volunteers per year. Programs include both a classroom presentation & a field trip. Topics include: native plant restoration, water quality, biodiversity, and park maintenance.
