The Grabhorn Institute is the non-profit steward of the fine press publisher Arion Press and the historic typefoundry of M & H Type. The gallery is open free to the public and features an exhibit of recent projects.
Current gallery exhibition: Julie Mehretu: Artwork from an edition of poems by Sappho. William T. Wiley: Illustrations and a large color print for "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes. Original art, artist books, and prints.
The Grabhorn Institute sponsors weekly tours of the production facility: Thursday, 3:00 p.m., $7 per person. Reservations required. Presidio Parking is available for $1 per hour or $6 per day.
