Legendary San Francisco Chef Yahya Salih is back with a new twist on some very old favorites.Combining traditional Mesopotamian dishes with California/Mediterranean influences has put a new spin on some well established Middle Eastern dishes at Jannah Restaurant in San Francisco.
Yaya cuisine then,and now Jannah Rest provides a modern and fresh atmosphere in which to enjoy the many creations of Salih.Combining his experience with California cooking pioneer Jeremiah Tower, with the traditional dishes of his native Iraq, Salih has carved a niche for himself as one of the premiere chefs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Yaya Cuisine was established in 1988,in downtown, San Francisco.
Then in 1990, Yahya moved to the inner sunset district. He opened a sophisticated cuisine. He created the only restaurant in the city that replicates Mesopotamian cuisine
In 1997, Yahya wanted to explore the Financial District.
