The Canadian Women’s Club of the San Francisco Bay Area will hold its June 8, 2011,event at the Old Presidio Golf Club, 8 Presidio Terrace, The Presidio, San Francisco. Social hour 11:00 a.m.; lunch 12:00 noon. The guest speaker will be Captain Cynthia L. Stowe, Marine Safety, Security & Environmental Protection Specialist, United States Coast Guard. She will speak on her role as the woman in charge of coastal safety in San Francisco & the Bay area. Tickets $30; reservations are required. Guests and gentlemen most welcome.
