Solstice combines suave elegance with an added shot of urban America. Two large doors open up into a spacious dining room, where a large palm tree rising from the center reaches antique ceiling fans circulating above. Dark wood tables and chairs dot the amply lit room, which is lined with plush banquettes. A long bar glowing with candlelight serves signature and inspired classic cocktails and offers a generous happy hour (5-6:30pm every day). The late local artist Daniel Price's New Orleands-inspired paintings decorate the adjacent sunken lounge, where overstuffed ottomans seat cocktail sippers and DJ's spin eclectic sounds Thursday through Saturday nights. Solstice's "social dining" menu is a nod to the global culinary influences found in our gastronomically diverse city.
