Ashoka

Ashoka is a small privately owned Restaurant, which takes great pride using fine authentic, light, and fresh ingredients and subtly blending robust flavors. Our Menu emphasizes some of the best recipes derived from royal household, not from commercial kitchen. We prepare vegetarian dishes that are exceptionally delicious and nutritious featuring wholesome South Indian delicacies and legumes flavored with delicate spices.

Ashoka is the new name we have chosen to represent the royal derivations of our unique dishes. Emperor Ashoka the Great was an Indian emperor who ruled the Maurya Empire in present-day eastern India from 273 BC to 232 BC

Our Executive Chef Maria was well trained from the hotel groups Sheraton and Taj International for several years. She was also trained by award winning Gold Medalist French Chef Piere Simon and Tasvika Silberg. Chef Shiekh spent his formative years with the Oberoi Hotel Group in India.
