Award winning photographer Myles Kleinfeld, will premier his solo art show, “New Minimalism” at the Axis-Café and Gallery, 1208 Eighth Street, San Francisco. The exhibit runs from March 4th thru May 31st.

WHAT: “New Minimalism” reflects a movement in art that’s literal presence does not symbolize anything. The colors do not express feeling or mood, but simply delineate space. The work strives to evoke a response from the viewer in terms of the relationship between the various elements within each piece. The work rejects the need for social comment, self-expression, narrative, or any other allusion to history, politics, or religion.
