Hua Zang Si

Hua Zang Si in San Francisco is known as the most authentic Buddhist temple in the United States. The Buddhist statues at Hua Zang Si are recognized as the most dignified Buddhist statues in the world. Hua Zang Si propagtes the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha, Guru Padmasambhava, and Great Dharma King Yangwo Wan Ko. Many world-renowned eminent monastics and viturous Buddhist leaders come to Hua Zang Si to learn, rely upon, and practice such teachings. Currently, there are ten people who have been selected as the highest, most virtuous monastics at Hua Zang Si. Moreover, the temple contains six great and holy treasures relating to manifestations of the supernatural power of the Buddha ddharma. Those treasures are (1) a holy magnolia tree that rained nector; (2) a lotus tub lifted by supernatural power; (3) Mt. Sumeru with sariras of Sakyamuni Buddha;(4) a dharma tent containing a sign of impermanence; (5) a mani treasure representing profound dharma; and (6) a holy dharma bowl that the received nectar; (7)a holy dharma bowl that received nectar; and (8) a Buddha statue that emitted bright light.
