CellSpace Art Gallery

SpaceCraft's 1st Thursday Performing and Visual art shows was launched in July of 2009 by resident artists of CellSpace, a non-profit dedicated to providing a safe and supportive public environment for the exploration of art, education, performance and community building. Since, SpaceCraft has featured the current work of its resident visual artists as well as the work of local guest artists and the international artists-in-residence at CellSpace's Project 2048. The show has always been curated and executed by participating artists bringing the Do-It-Yourself spirit of the bay area to the CellSpace Art Gallery. SpaceCraft's 1 yr anniversary show was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. The monthly shows continue to provide an open forum for experimental art and music, a space for resident artists to present their current work and a welcoming atmosphere for emerging local artists. Join us every 1st Thursday at the CellSpace Art Gallery from 7-11pm. 2050 Bryant Street @ 18th in San Francisco's Mission District. Open to the public and always free.
