A Night with Giris in Tech on WordPress

WordPress being the world's most used content management system, used and seen by millions of users every day - among them Girls in Tech - we are dedicating a night to WordPress. We will discuss and demonstrate WordPress development and some of the features WordPress offers.

Ann Oyama, our event speaker and WordPress expert, is a Computer Science MIT graduate working as a web developer and consultant on WordPress. Ann will demonstrate how to develop websites using WordPress as a content management system. She will explain how to create and use custom post types and taxonomies.
