Are you an urban gardener... or want to be one? Concerned about what is in your backyard soil? Join us for a community meeting to discuss how to garden without heavy metals! We will discuss how to collect soil and get it tested, where heavy metals come from, and how to keep children, pregnant women and others who are at risk safe while gardening. The event is free and open to the public. Also, free soil testing is being offered to 100 gardeners in the following zip codes: 94124, 94134, 94110, 94107 and 94114.
