Terzo (which means third in Italian) offers small plates of “pan-Mediterranean” fare and authentic European style tapas at the zinc bar, under the care of exec chef Mark Gordon. The wine list will offer over 60 options of European and Californian wines chosen to pair with the food.
A high table sits between the bar and dining room and offers seating for a party of 10, or communal seating. Espresso leather banquets line the dining room. A separate back room sports skylights and a wall of windows overlooking an urban garden, and can be booked for a private dinner for 20.
Drawing from the wine bars and cafes of Sicily, Rome, Seville & Madrid, wines will be stored along the walls of the dining room. An original fireplace was retained and will be lit nightly. Edison bulbs will light the room.
The space was designed by Cass Calder Smith Architects (who also did Rose Pistola and Rose's Cafe - Terzo's sister restaurants). James Goodman provided color and finish consultation.
