Mint Plaza, San Francisco's newest public outdoor space, is located in the SOMA/downtown neighborhood (off of 5th Street between Mission and Market).
Uniquely urban, the Plaza is framed on three sides by historic architecture and lined with cafés, restaurants and entertainment venues including, Mezzanine, Chez Papa Resto, 54 Mint, and Blue Bottle Cafe.
The Plaza accommodates a wide range of uses, including outdoor dining, art exhibitions, live music, and festivals; it also also provides a quiet, green and clean refuge for neighboring residents, downtown employees and visitors from everywhere to take a break, sit outdoors and relax.
