This National Park Service visitor center includes the "Voyages" exhibit featuring the Farallon Island lighthouse lens, gold rush artifacts, a real shipwreck; and a "Sailors Den" for books, activities and documentary videos. The brick building that houses the Visitor Center was built in 1908. It was originally constructed as a warehouse for the California Fruit Canners Association. Ranger-staffed information desk.
