Dr. Sarah Strand will discuss "The Evolution of Religion" in honor of Darwin's Birthday. She will discuss why religion has been present in human society since the dawn of humankind and the psychological origins of religion. Dr. Strand received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Behavior in 2006 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Lunch will be available for purchase at 12:00. This event is sponsored by the church’s Humanists and Non-Theists Group. Everyone is welcome.
