Indigenous Grape Varietals of Italy

The SF Wine Center welcomes Italian Sommelier Mauro Cirilli for a special night featuring the indigenous grapes of Italy. Mauro is the former wine director of Perbacco, Sommelier for prestigious hotels throughout the world, created the first Italian Wine Specialist Certification, & heads the newly formed Northern American Sommelier Association. He will lead the class into the fascinating world of indigenous grapes from Italy. What's even more exciting is that some of these were almost extinct!
