VIGIL FOR MARTYRS OF TIBET

A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8th, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Chinese Consulate, 1450 Laguna St., San Francisco CA 94115. There will be a worldwide show of solidarity with Tibetans that day to honor the deaths of seven peacefully gathered Tibetans killed in January 2012 by Chinese police in Sichuan Province as well as the deaths of 16 monks and nuns who have self-immolated in protest of the systematic and increasingly brutal repression of human rights by the Chinese government.
