Peter Steinhauer's Cocoons at Corden|Potts Gallery

Cocoons, an exhibition of work by Singapore-based photographer Peter Steinhauer runs 2/2-3/31. A reception will be held on Thurs, 2/2, 5:30-7:30 pm. On his first visit to Hong Kong in 1994, Steinhauer was surprised when he saw his first cocooned buildings. At first he thought the artist Christo had a new project there, but he soon realized he was seeing examples of Hong Kong's traditional building technique of covering building construction with bamboo scaffolding & brightly colored fabric.
