A Cocktail Party Benefiting Visual Aid
programs for artists with life-threatening illnesses
Join Visual Aid on March 15th for an elegant cocktail party/fundraiser at the beautiful Liberty Hill home of Daniel Goldstein and Jason Lahman. Designed by architect Albert Lanier (late husband of sculptor Ruth Asawa ), this mid-century home boasts panoramic views of the city. The perfect location to celebrate the phenomenal work of Visual Aid in making a difference in the lives of local artists living with life-threatening illnesses.
Enjoy excellent conversation with the best and brightest of San Francisco society while enjoying views of the city, live classical music, a new cocktail designed especially for the occasion, Napa Valley wines and an array of gourmet hors d'oeuvres and desserts.
6:30 - VIP Reception for Premium ticket holders, 7:00 - Cocktail Party and Silent auction. P arty goers are invited to bid on original works of art and luxury packages and purchase limited edition pillows from the Visual Aid Pillow Project .
Renowned sculptor Daniel Goldstein is a co-founder and the first President of Visual Aid. He was recently profiled in We Were Here, a documentary film honored at the Sundance Film Festival and named one of 2011's Ten Best Films by the New York Times. Jason Lahman is a historian and art writer who writes and lectures widely on modern art and culture. The evening will support Visual Aid, one of San Francisco's most successful and enduring philanthropic organizations.
