LoveSpringSF: Kathryn James on the Languages of Love, Melissa Otero

Age Suitability: None Specified

Languages of Love with Kathryn James.
What's Love Got to do With It? Now that we are in Valentine's Season, I find it most appropriate to write about love and different types of love. There are three different kinds of love- agape, altruistic, and erotic. Agape is Greek for brotherly love or how one might feel for a friend, parent, or sibling. Altruistic love is love for humankind- think of Mother Theresa. Finally, erotic love is romantic love or how we feel for our spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend. All of three of these loves combined together is called Consummate Love. I will offer information and skills for greater understanding in love languages to increase your awareness and movement towards a Consummate Love experience. Whether you are single, dating, partnered or married, this talk will give you valuable insight to improve your love language with yourself and the people around you. Kathryn James

In 2006 she released her first single “My First Everything” which reached #1 for two consecutive weeks. With the success of her first album “My Spirit”, she was approached by Karate America of Little Chute, WI to tour as part of a benefit concert series for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. In 2010 while in Miami, Melissa met famed record producer Clay Ostwald (Gloria Estefan), together Clay and Melissa produced a new version of her single “Phantom of My Heart” in both an English and Spanish.
