ODC/Dance Associate Choreographer Kimi Okada’s new modern work “I Look Vacantly at the Pacific … Though Regret” highlights this annual showcase, also featuring choreography by faculty members Ray Tadio and Cathleen McCarthy and advanced students. Okada’s piece, which debuted last year, explores the humorous and often awkward attempts at cross-cultural understanding.
