San Francisco's historic Castro District is a vibrant community known for its LGBT activism and events. Among its beautifully restored Victorian homes are notable attractions such as the GBLT History Museum, Harvey Milk's former camera store, and the Castro Theater. Even if you are native to San Francisco, take this walking to tour to learn more about this famous neighborhood!
SF City Guides will lead this private 1 1/2 to 2 hour walking tour of the Castro, rain or shine. The walk includes stairs and steep hills. The tour only cancels in the event of very heavy rain or other unforeseen events. Sorry, no pets are allowed!
If there is interest, we may get a casual brunch/lunch at a nearby restaurant or cafe after the tour.
