Lisa Engelken Quintet Debuts Part II of "Anima Explorations"

Tonight's concert follows last Spring's wildly successful event at the Red Poppy- played to an enthusiastic, sold-out house.

Lisa will be joined by her stellar quartet to unveil exciting new works: fresh originals and bold adaptations of Tom Waits, The Cars, Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard and Franco Godi.

Lisa plans to record this compelling new work in Spring 2012, in follow-up to her self-produced release "Caravan," named to the "Best of 2010" list by the Jazz Journalists Association.
