D.Talks is an ongoing series of panel discussions presenting practical information about current trends and hot topics in the world of design and business. Our goal is to foster robust dialog and critical thinking, so crowd participation is an integral part of each event.
Is it possible to change the world with design? How should designers, educators and business leaders work together to create real and measurable impact in the world? How do designers educate corporations and their community about socially responsible design? How do designers integrate social responsibility in their day-to-day work?
Join AIGA SF as we discuss how we can work together to make our design community more socially responsible. Topics will include:
Creating an impact in society
Finding a cause to back
Integrating social responsibility into day-to-day work
Doing pro bono work
Networking: 6:30 PM Discussion: 7:00 PM
