Tree City Legends

A new performance piece combining writing, music, and photography. This work, directed by Marc Bamuthi Joseph, is the first play by writer, musician, poet Dennis Kim (Denizen Kane) and is the next in a series of first plays developed with Campo Santo and the Living Word Project for Intersection. It is told through live music, eulogies, and city scenes as a family works to understand a brother's death and seeks to make legends from losses. Tree City Legends includes performers: Juan Amador (DJ Wonway), Taiyo Na, Campo Santo's Sean San Jose, the band Dirty Boots (James Dumlao, Rachel Lastimosa, Gyasi Ross), and visual design by photographer Joan Osato.
