CD release and concert "Shifreles portret: A Yiddish Art Song Project"

Performing numerous tracks from the album, including Yiddish classical songs that were written as far back as the 1920s. You will also hear the world-premiere of a newly composed piece by internationally known violinist and composer Steven Greenman. Inaddition,our trio will be joined at the concert by Bay Area musical group “The Lark” to perform Russian instrumental music, as well as Yiddish theater and folk songs.
