The Nelson Man o’Bar Lecture

Jimbo Blachly and Lytle Shaw, editors of The Chadwick Family Papers, deliver a slide lecture on the Nelson Man o’Bar, an occupiable scale model of Admiral Nelson’s HMS Victory that was long a fixture at Chadwick Manor. The lecture will explain the saga of the Man o’Bar’s rediscovery and passage back to the United States, and its singular place within the Chadwicks’ larger nautical collections. The lecture is part of Southern Exposure’s Solo Exhibitions Program.
