Hidden Classics - The Stronger, Pariah, Simoon

Cutting Ball presents three one-act plays that show the power of August Strindberg’s invention with The Stronger, in which one woman speaks and another never says a word Pariah, in which two men fight over gold; and Simoon, in which a soldier is bewitched by a mysterious woman from the desert. The readings will be followed by a discussion of the plays and Strindberg’s relationship to the occult.
