Zwilich World Premier, Open Rehearsal

New Century Chamber Orchestra ends their 20th Anniversary Season with the World Premiere of Ellen Zwilich's La Commedia dell'Arte, written especially for Music Director Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg. As the New York Times warmly notes of Ms. Zwilich, "she writes in an idiosyncratic style that, without ostentation or gimmickry, is always recognizably hers."
New Century will also perform work of Grieg, Schoenberg, and Heidrich.
