Masters of Venice: Docent Lecture/Slideshow

On exhibit until February 12, 2012 at the deYoung Museum, Masters of Venice: Renaissance Painters of Passion and Power is an exclusive presentation of 50 paintings by Venetian painters Titian, Giorgione, Veronese, Tintoretto, Mantegna, and more, primarily from the sixteenth century, on loan from the Gemäldegalerie of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. This lecture/slideshow features rare examples of works, representing a range of Venetian accomplishments in renaissance-era painting.
