Bair Island Aquatic Center

Founded in 1999, Bair Island Aquatic Center (BIAC) is a nonprofit organization located in Redwood City on the shores of the San Francisco Bay. As the largest community-based aquatic center in the San Francisco Bay Area, BIAC offers a variety of educational, recreational and competitive programs in rowing, sculling, paddling and dragon boating. With approximately 200 members, BIAC offers learn-to-row, scull and paddle clinics each year. BIAC is also home to Northern California Crew (NorCal), a competitive rowing club for high school and junior high school students, as well as Junipero Serra High School’s Padre Crew.
