Before moving to the U.S., he performed regularly in five-star nightclubs throughout the Middle East and Europe. Since moving to the US, he has performed to standing ovations at accordion festivals and concert halls throughout the U.S. He is a respected vocalist in his own right, singing the golden-age classics of Oum Kolthoum, Abdel Halim Hafez, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, and Fairouz, as well as performing many of his own original compositions.
