Quality Improvement 101

Have you been tasked with improving a process or outcome? Are you new to Quality Management or interested in learning more about performance improvement? Well now is your opportunity to learn the basics of quality improvement in our Quality Improvement 101 Class ( formerly Beacon Psqi Class ). Join us for a day at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation in Palo Alto to learn about process design, flow charting, the model for improvement, and measurement.
Class size is limited so we encourage you to sign up early.
The class will meet on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 10:00am - 3:30pm . Registration and coffee begins at 9:30am. A catered lunch will be provided.
Registration fee is $50 for Bay Area hospitals/$75 for non-Bay Area hospitals and includes: a full day of programming and lunch.
Class Objectives :
Examine the elements of process design
Demonstrate how to flowchart a process
Utilizethe Model for Improvement
Create an Aim Statement
Identify different types of measurement

Refund Policy: Cancellation must be received in writing prior to February 16, 2012 to qualify for a refund minus a processing fee of $15.00.
