"Miss Representation" Documentary Screening

Deborah's Palm, a nonprofit women's community center, will host a screening of a powerful documentary by Jennifer Siebel Newsom which aims to end sexism in the media and empower women. The film explores how mainstream media's misrepresentations of women have led to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence.
