Oaktoberfest in the Dimond

OAKTOBERFEST IN THE DIMOND returns for its 4th year of fun, community-building, and festivities on Saturday October 1, 2011 - from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm and is free to the public. Highlights throughout the festival, include the Bill Brand Biergarten (at Fruitvale Ave. and MacArthur Blvd.) with 20 local craft breweries and the Mad Zymurgist Homebrew Competition; the Family-Friendly Rootbier Garten with a stage filled with local entertainers and fun for the entire family - the Main Stage at Dimond and MacArthur - AND, plenty of food and vendor booths in-between to more than satisfy everyone.

This year “Big Lou’s Casserole” band returns as the headliner with the Alhambra Valley Band, Stovall Sisters, MotorDude Zydeco, and The Lovelight Blues on the main stage, with local bands and performers on the family stage. Street Dancing and other surprises and treats are in store...
