Cafe Dejena is located in Oakland, Ca. Open for Breakfast and lunch seven days a week, it sits at a very historical location. Enjoy great and authentic Eritrean meals along with American options in a building where the Independence of Eritrea was announced in 1993. Cafe Dejena, which has been open for seven years started as a place for the Temascal neighborhood to gather and has grown from there. It's now a place for old and new friends to come together, share a meal together and enjoy life.
