California Suiseki Society Suiseki Exhibition

The California Suiseki Society will have their free show on June 13th-14th, 10 to 5, at the Lakeside Garden Center, 666 Bellevue, Oakland. Suiseki, and ancient Japanese art, are small to medium stones naturally eroded into aesthetically pleasing shapes. Many suggest mountains, islands,etc.. Others resemble human or animal figures, or are prized for their colorful and abstract patterns. Collected in rivers and hills, and displayed in their natural state, these stones are objects of great beauty.
