Fred Setterberg, widely known for his nonfiction writing and literary prizes, will speak about his first novel, Lunch Bucket Paradise: A True-Life Novel, published by Berkeley's Heyday Books. Setterberg will tell how fiction with autobiographical underpinnings can evolve from remembering "what didn't happen, the embellishments, inventions, fantasies, outright lies we tell ourselves and anybody who will listen when the subject of our childhood holds the floor."
