Old Roots, New Growth: Cultivating Communities

The conference will be held Thur, May 3 through Sun, May 6 includes tours and workshops that explore the range of preservation interests from industrial roots to new initiatives in Oakland and the Bay Area.

The conference will be based at the Marriott City Center. Special tours include Lake Merritt, 1891 Unitarian Church, Scottish Rite Center, Rosie the Riveter,Historical Park, Peralta Hacienda, and more.
