Youth Event: Love Maia discusses and signs her new book: DJ Rising

Meet Marley, an unassuming high school junior. In between caring for his heroin-addicted mother, and keeping his scholarship, he dreams of becoming a professional DJ.

Chance lands Marley his first real DJ job, but when disaster strikes at home, he is torn between obligation and following his dreams.

Love Maia share Marley's passion for music and his belief in dreaming big. When not writing, Love can be found playing drums in an alternative rock band in and around San Francisco.
